Midjourney streamlines your design process, saving you time and effort to brainstorm ideas. You can speed up your tasks like color selection, character design, and pattern creation. This allows you to focus on the more important artistic aspect, which is bringing your imagination to life.

AI like Midjourney helps me choose the right color palette for my stickers and guides me toward a cool sticker art style. I don't directly use the generated images, but I mix and match them, then use them for the initial concept.

Access to Midjourney and Recommended Mode for Stickers

To access Midjourney, you have two options: invite the Midjourney bot to your Discord server or generate images directly using their Discord bot.

Midjourney offers the Nijijourney model, specially designed for anime-style creations. You can switch to Nijijourney mode within Midjourney and you can also invite the Nijijourney bot to generate images.

It's recommended to generate images with the Nijijourney bot, as it allows you to customize the “style”.

The latest version of Nijijourney is v5, offering four styles to choose from. For sticker designs, the “cute” and “default” styles are particularly suitable.

Cute and Default style can give you the best result in graphical style. So, I always use these two styles for sticker idea generation.

You can easily switch to each style by typing “/settings” and select the style of your preference.

My Steps to Create Midjourney Sticker Prompts

Step 1: Generate Initial Midjourney Prompt Using ChatGPT

If you're new to ChatGPT, let me tell you how it can greatly assist you in your Midjourney prompt design.

Here's what I do: I simply input my initial idea into ChatGPT and let it generate the initial Midjourney prompt for me.

It's truly remarkable how ChatGPT helps kickstart the creative process. But that's not all! The best part is that ChatGPT can also provide you with a whole set of designs in the same theme.

This feature allows you to explore various design possibilities and expand your creative horizons.

Step 2: Input the Generated Prompt from ChatGPT to Midjourney

Then I simply input the prompt I got from ChatGPT to Midjourney. I adjust the prompt a little bit, such as by adding image ratio, to get the outcome I want.

Step 3: Upscale the Images

After I got my favorite piece, I clicked the “U button to upscale the image in Midjourney. Then I throw the image to NightmareAI to upscale it once again (for FREE!)

Step 4: Remove Background

I then saved the image I got from NighmareAI and sent it to Adode Background Remover to remove the background (for FREE!) And now I have a sticker set with a transparent background! I can use them to mix and match with my idea!
