Have you ever struggled with line art? Did you think your line art was flat, stiff, and unnatural? In this tutorial, I'll provide some tips to help you improve your line art skills using Clip Studio Paint! You can produce stunning line art much simpler by using the tools in Clip Studio Paint.

TIPS #1 : Use appropriate brush
1

Here is a collection of my favorite line art brushes to help you produce better line art!

TIPS #2 : Use curve tool to draw curvy object
2

Curve tool helps you draw the curve a lot more precise! I always use the curve tool when I make sword/Katana line art. It's super handy!

3

TIPS #3 : Use vector layer
4

I use vector layers almost every time I make line art. With the vector layer, you can use a vector eraser to click and delete the overlap line easily.

5

TIPS#4 : Use "adjust line width" tool
6

If you are using the vector layer, you can use the tool called "adjust line width" to make your line thicker or thinner easily. No need to redraw the line.
